OurPartners
Part of the reason for building the Warhamateur site was so that I had a good platform for sharing the guides I’ve written, which are (so far) mostly focused on saving money. Until this point they have been primarily posted at The Warp Storm, but here I can give them a little more spotlight treatment.
As part of my research into ways to save money I’ve come across a small number of webstores that offer a partnership or affiliation scheme. Full disclosure time: the way this works is that I tell you about a place where you can buy models and hobby supplies, usually much cheaper than retail price, and in return if you buy anything from them I get a small kickback at no extra cost to yourself. It’s an easy way for somebody to say thankyou for being shown a way to save some pennies, basically!
So, who have I affiliated with? Below you’ll find six stores, all of whom offer good value for their area – I have intentionally tried to stay away from places that don’t offer competitive prices, so as to keep things as cheap as I can for everybody. You’ll also find brand links, Amazon links for those things you can’t find elsewhere, and my message board, because we all love a little self-promotion!
🌍 Worldwide
Rosemary & Co offer some of the finest sable brushes that you can find, at prices far below most other brands. They also produce the Artis Opus brush lines – if you buy the R&C branded equivalents you can save yourself a few pennies!
Our recommendations:
Series 33 (the same as the Artis Opus Series S)
Series 323 (the same as the Artis Opus Series M)
Model Dry Brush (the same as the Artis Opus Series D)
For those in the US who might have difficulty importing Kolinsky sable brushes you can also consider the Series 99 set.
