With Warhammer 40k 10th Edition just round the corner, and the Leviathan box about to go up for pre-order, here’s a little list of retailers that can save you just a couple of extra pennies!
Many of the retailers below are offering interest lists for the pre-order, however any additional copies should become available to the public. The pre-order start date is Saturday the 10th of June between 10am and 11am local time, with general sale starting Saturday the 24th of June. Games Workshop have claimed that this box is being made in quantities large enough to outnumber the bugs in a Hive Fleet, but once they’re gone they’re gone, so make sure you get yours while stocks last!
This list draws on the slightly larger discount retailers list to try and provide you with the very best prices for your area – prices will be updated as and when they are confirmed.
The confirmed price for the box is £150 / €200 / $250USD / $300CAD / $420AUD
Now the pre-orders have started (and mostly sold out), please be aware that general sale prices on the 24th may differ from the prices offered already.

🇪🇺 Europe
Hobbyists in Europe have something of a mixed deal. Some countries have stores that offer up to 25% discounts, while some struggle to get better prices than 10-15% off. You also have GW’s exchange rates to contend with: local prices can often be 10-15% more expensive than the direct GBP – Euro conversion rate would suggest! It is for this reason that I’m including a UK-based store in the EU list, as with currency conversion it may work out cheaper to buy from abroad! I would recommend looking at Wayland Games before any stores offering a 20% discount, and in the case of those that offer 25% I would compare the difference when postage is included. For those countries not listed (due to not having stores that offer at least 20% off) I would go straight to Wayland. Should they run out of stock check my retailers list for local alternatives.

🇺🇸 United States
Unfortunately those in the US get a pretty raw deal. Stores are legally only allowed to advertise a discount of up to 15%, and so it’s difficult to find truly competitive pricing. Some stores may quietly offer memberships that grant additional discounts, or have different prices for local regulars, but these can’t be shared online. I also unfortunately only have a small number of US stores on my retailers list, so if you know of any that I could add please do get in touch!

pawl has been an on/off hobbyist since the late nineties but still possesses significantly more enthusiasm for the hobby as a whole than skill with a brush, and so is always on the hunt for fast, easy and lazy techniques that give good results. Despite this he sometimes still attempts to paint Space Marine helmet lenses, and occasionally even manages to stay within the lines!
